Will the wire-free scrubbing pad actually clean as well as a wire brush?

Yes — in most cases better. The motorized pad spins at up to 400 RPM which lifts carbon and grease faster and more consistently than manual scrubbing. For very heavy buildup (grates that have not been cleaned in months) you can switch to the bristle head for the first clean, then use the wire-free pad as your regular head going forward. The wire-free pad handles 95% of regular weekly cleaning.

How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?

One full USB-C charge takes approximately 2 hours and delivers 10 or more full grill cleans depending on the speed setting used. For most people grilling 2–3 times a week, one charge lasts the entire month. The USB-C cable is included in the box — it charges from any phone charger, laptop, or USB wall adapter.

What grills does it work on?

GrillShield™ Pro works on gas grills, charcoal grills, ceramic grills (Big Green Egg, Kamado Joe), and cast iron grates. The 180° adjustable head reaches standard flat grates and angled V-grates. It does not work on very fine mesh grates (some pellet smokers) where the pad cannot make full contact.
